Meet Peter Sage, Partner, Picton’s historic Royal Hotel

Peter Sage is stepping into unknown territory and he couldn’t be more thrilled. This past February, the president of Elliott Sage Design and Construction led a partnership of seven investors into ownership of Picton’s historic Royal Hotel. With help from a hospitality consultant, the group will open the County’s only full-service luxury hotel. Peter says he has a passion for old buildings, and while he’s been working as a builder and developer in Picton since 1989, venturing into tourism business is novel for Elliott Sage. A fan of jazz music, Peter says the new Royal will also serve as a popular performance venue, adding, “It’s time for the Royal to have a renaissance”.
