CREATIVE MINDS is a venue for Prince Edward County businesses and professionals to network and share creative rural economy stories and experiences.
The creative economy is driven by knowledge, innovation, and people who use analytical, creative thinking and social skills. It is as much about lawyers as it is artists, managers as it is about designers, it is beyond entertainers and includes brokers, programmers, educators, healthcare professionals, entrepreneurs and more. The creative economy employs creative workers across all industries and sectors - including manufacturing and agriculture.
Prince Edward County has a strong creative economy:
- 31% of our workforce are employed in the creative economy, which pays 46% of the wages earned here.
- Our creative economy grew by 30% in the last ten years and is projected to grow by 42% in the next decade.
What can CREATIVE MINDS do for me?
- Events are open to everyone, where people can make business connections.
- Tap into a successful venue and a network of 150+ and growing.
- Expand networking opportunities with a diverse occupational mix of attendees.
- Meet local business people and access their services.
- Get inspired by new ideas, knowledge, and collaboration - what can be possible collectively?
- Participate in building our community network.
