Eastern Ontario Development Fund (EODF)
The $80-million EODF is available to attract investment and support job creation in Eastern Ontario. Targeted to business and economic developers the EODF is an initiative to:

  • - Promote the creation and retention of jobs
  • - Encourage the introduction of new technologies
  • - Assist private sector firms, communities and sector groups to pursue growth in new markets and improve their competitive position
  • - Contribute to the diversification of the Economy of Eastern Ontario

Ontario Market Investment Fund (OMIF)
The Government of Ontario is committed to working with farmers, industry and local food networks to help Ontario families get local Ontario food onto their kitchen tables. The $12-million, four-year, OMIF was announced in the 2008 Ontario Budget and is targeted to promote consumer awareness of Ontario-produced foods and encourages Ontario to buy locally.

Rural Economic Development (RED) Program
The RED program assists with the costs of projects that use the power of partnership to create change. The partners might be individuals, businesses, organizations or municipal governments. They share a common goal: to breathe new life into rural communities, make more opportunities to develop skills and improve access to health care.
